Being the youngest shopping Centre Manager that Southern Life had ever had, she was involved with controlling the tenant mix in the Centre, negotiating leases, organising promotions and marketing etc. She then working for a European-based property investment company, where she was involved in purchasing and managing properties on their behalf, that were both Commerical and Residential. Then, for many years, Sally worked for the British Consulate, where she headed up the Management section, being involved in running and managing their entire Property Portfolio in the Cape.
Sally has far more than conventional real estate sales experience under her belt, Sally also has an understanding and appreciation of the luxury property market, a complimentary personality and an uncompromising service driven attitude.
Living in Stonehurst Estate, she has been a Trustee there and been involved in promoting the Estate in various ways. She has a true understanding of the dynamics and workings of security estates, the benefits of living there and investing in them.
Having gone to school, worked and lived in the Southern Suburbs all her life, she is familiar and aware of the different property trends and benefits relating to the different areas in which she is now selling homes.
While being a ‘stay-at-home Mom’ Sally started studying reflexology and ran her own successful practice for 10 years, incorporating massage, Indian head massage and nutrition.
In 2008, Sally wrote her property exams and started working for Chas Everitt. Six weeks into her new career she signed up her first sale. It was not long before she was invited to join the Upper Constantia team and started working in the area where she already had many friends. Sally has subsequently had a number of sales and won many awards within the company. She has enjoyed being amongst the top sales agents consistently within the company and won a number of overseas trips as a reward.
With Chas Everitt recently becoming part of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, and having the benefit of Luxury Portfolio as part of it, Sally was the obvious choice to have as Team Leader for this division in the Constantiaberg area.
A very successful 2017 saw Sally awarded the top Metro Agent for the Chas Everitt group in the Western Cape, encouraging Sally to set her sights firmly on a greater role in the management of the franchise and increased her shareholding and in May 2018. Sally became a Director of the Chas Everitt Cape Town South franchise and in 2019 Sally became the Managing Director of the group, which has offices in Fish Hoek, Tokai and Bergvliet and an office opening in Newlands later this year.
